"""Fixed tiny-batch run for Lab B: verifies the next-token logit/label pairing.

Trains TinyDecoder on a single fixed CPU batch, but the key demonstration is
not "loss goes down". A decreasing loss does **not** prove that logits[t] is
paired with labels[t+1] — on a tiny batch a misaligned loss can still decrease
through memorisation. Instead this script:

  1. Builds fixed logits and labels.
  2. Inspects ONE specific pairing: which label logits[0, 0] is scored against
under the wrong shift versus the correct shift.
  3. Defines the wrong-loss path (logits[:, 1:] vs labels[:, :-1]) and the
     correct-loss path (logits[:, :-1] vs labels[:, 1:]).
  4. Repairs the wrong path by switching to the correct shift and verifies the
pairing by printing the actual (logit position, label position) indices.
  5. Reports actual measured losses — no "near-zero" claim, since loss depends
on every position, not just the one inspected pairing.
